to catch a train with you

we are two political revolutionaries in a dystopian, authoritarian system. there are fewer freedoms in our world than there should be, and we fight in small ways every day to fix things.

this is not a game about that.

we’ve been captured by the state but we’ve each independently staged a daring escape. it took all of our cunning, bravery, and resources.

this is not a game about that either.

we have an escape route planned for situations like this, to get out of dodge, but unfortunately, the first step was to meet up at our current apartment, which is now swarming with cops. we will have to meet up somewhere else, fast, and we have no way of contacting one another to coordinate.

this is what the game is about.

but it is not what we will play.

instead, we will play through our lives before any of this happened.

and then, at the end, we will have to try to guess where the other person will try to meet us.
